mk about 1000 500

Hi!  I’m MaryKate.  I started this blog to keep my friends and family updated as I go through a bone marrow transplant to treat my Aplastic Anemia.  I also wanted to be a source of information for anyone else going through, or about to go through something similar.  I personally scoured the internet for blogs like this to get real some real information on real experiences with this disease and this treatment.

100 days is a turning point in the recovery process which is why I’ve called this blog 100days withMK.  But mostly because “day” rhymes with “k” and I don’t have a creative bone in my body.

So please follow me on this adventure.  I promise you will learn some things.  And I will make every attempt to sometimes be mildly amusing.
